On 29 October, the Digital Sustainability Research Centre at the University of Bern is organising a hybrid conference focused on digital sustainability and open source software known as DINAcon. Held in Basel (Switzerland) and virtually, this event consists of keynotes, the DINAcon Awards, and a series of one-hour workshops.

The 2021 edition of the DINAcon, which is the 5th edition, is organised by the Research Centre Digital Sustainability of the University of Bern in collaboration with the Parliamentary Group on Digital Sustainability, several associations (Opendata.ch, CH Open, Digital Impact Network and many more) and volunteers at the Baloise Park in Basel.

During this event, forward-looking projects from open source and open data communities, public administrations and businesses will be presented, discussed and awarded. The exact programme is not yet known but the list of topics includes:

  • Open data,
  • Open education,
  • Open government,
  • Open source software
  • Open internet,
  • Digital sustainability,
  • Tech-Fairtrade

This event will be held in German.

The number of places is limited and online registration is mandatory.
