The number of regions using Open Source Software (OSS) has increased a lot this decade. The number of experts too. In 2023, OSOR is gathering this collective knowledge, to make it available to others who are working on strategies and implementations. This series of webinars will spread this knowledge to as large an audience as possible - both on the day, and through the recording and the materials that will be produced after the webinar.
During this second webinar of our series on OSS strategy, we will share the results of our second workshop which gathered public and private sector participants. After a first workshop which discussed challenges, the second workshop focussed on possible ways forward. Be it implementing new solutions, adapting existing systems to local contexts, fulfilling local legal requirements or finding the right tools, good collaboration between the public and private sector can greatly facilitate development of open administrations.
This webinar is open to all and should be of interest to anyone making IT policy and decisions in public administration as well as open source providers. Join us to learn more about the outcomes of this discussion and learn about possible ways forward to facilitate the use of open source in public administration.
