This year’s EU Datathon adventure started in February with the call to data enthusiasts worldwide to propose ideas for applications using open data from the EU institutions, agencies and bodies. FIWARE has taken over the implementation of the NGSI-LD API
ETSI created in Jan 2017 an Industry Specification Group (ISG CIM) for defining a Context Information Management API. The NGSI v2 defined by FIWARE provided the basis for the NGSI-LD specs published by ETSI (October 2019). NGSI-LD is a simple but powerful REST API for getting access to context data in right-time.
