With the ECLI standard can: 1) all judgments in the European Union (both national and European cuisine) be provided with a similar, unique and persistent identifier. This identifier can be used for identification and citation of judgments and thus to be found in domestic or foreign, European or international law databases it. 2) all judgments are equipped with standard metadata based on the Dublin Core standard. Looking statements in all databases are thereby facilitated.
