Agrarian Documents for Government Agencies (AGRI-DOC)

AGRI-DOC is a document related document- and knowledge-management-system which provides information, documents of the European agrarian fonds for the national government and the governments of the federal states. In addition, national regulations and ordinances will be delivered through this platform. The federal states are the end-users of the documents from the EU and the national government. On the other hand, the federal authorties are also producing documents, application forms, guidelines etc. for their consultants and farmers. These documents can be placed in the system. An exchange of documents and knowlegde between different national and state authorities will be supported by the new system. The new system displaced the former paper-based document distribution and database solution with a large input of customisation. The web-based solution ist offering user-/group-specific user interfaces and system environments according to their specific requirements.

Main results, benefits and impacts

The case is an innovation in cooperation of all government agencies at the national, regional and local level. It is a modern tool of document management which gives direct access to all relevant documents.
