In the context of European Citizens' Initiatives (ECI), the Validation Tool for Statements of Support (VTECI) is a tool available for the verification of Statements of Support (SoS). It allows National Authorities to fulfil their task specified in Article 8 of the Regulation (EU) No 211/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The Federal Office of Administration (Bundesverwaltungsamt, Germany) developed a first version of this tool and shared it under a EUPL license. Within ISA Action 1.12, the European Commission continued its development with the aim to provide a generic solution to all Members States.
