This database gives you information on:

  • The active substances approved in Europe;
  • References to EU legislation for each substance;
  • Toxicological information and maximum residue levels in food and feed.

This database is made to consult the evolution of the Maximum Residue Level (MRLs) of pesticides for a product and also consult information's about active substances.

Active substances: This part alow to consult ADI, ARfD and AOEL values, the classification, the authorisations and related documents of a selected active substance.

Pesticides: This part allows to search for the MRLs of one or several pesticides for a set of products or to display for a given product the full list of pesticides and their relative MRLs.

Important remark: In order to facilitate control of residues of pesticides, a default value is to be set for pesticide residues present in products or groups of products covered in the database for which no MRLs have been established in Annexes II or III, unless the active substance in question is listed in Annex IV. It is appropriate to set the default value at 0,01 mg/kg (Article 18.1(b) of Reg 396/2005).
