Mapping between Dublin Core and ISO 19115, "Geographic Information - Metadata"

The current document is the deliverable for point 1 above, providing a mapping between Dublin Core and the ISO standard IS 19115 to organisations and communities wishing to consider the use of the Dublin Core in their metadata activities inside the geographic information domain. The information it contains tries to facilitate the compatibility for the use of Dublin Core in this domain and ISO standard IS 19115, “Geographic Information – Metadata”. This document is the result of co-operation between the members of the CEN/ISSS MMI-DC workshop in the period between September 2002 and September 2003.
