This asset describes Normative Guidelines. The Normative Guidelines have the same status as GS1 standards, developed and approved following the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP).
They are splitted in three branches:
- eCom Transport Protocols
- Standard Business Document Header (SBDH)
- EANCOM - XML mapping of Trade Item Synchronisation messages.
1. eCom Transport Protocols
- EDIINT AS1 and AS2 Transport Communication Guidelines This document defines the technical communication protocols used to transport traditional EDI and XML data from one computer application to another. It is a set of rules how the EDIINT
-AS1and EDIINT
-AS2 standards should be implemented by the GS1 users.
- Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) Disaster Recovery Implementation Guide
The purpose of this Guideline is to provide information about Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) as it relates to Applicability Statement 2 (AS2) an industry standard for Internet-based data exchange.
2. Standard Business Document Header (SBDH)
Standard Business Document Header (SBDH) enables integration of documents between internal applications, enterprise applications, and business-to-business infrastructure by providing a consistent interface between applications.
3. EANCOM - XML mapping of Trade Item Synchronisation messages
The objective of this document is to map into EANCOM® 2002 all messages related to the choreography that can be handled by Final users while exchanging data with the data-pools, regardless of being a Data Source or a Data Recipient.
