The European Union has officially announced the Call for Proposal under the DIGITAL Europe Work Programme 2024, titled 'Innovative and Connected Public Administrations.' The initiative aims to pave the way for the development of a platform fostering awareness, ideation, and the piloting of interoperability assets crucial for cross-border digital public services. Scheduled to open on February 29, 2024, and closing on May 29, 2024, at 17:00 Brussels time, the call seeks to bring together digital government ecosystems, experts, and stakeholders. The overarching goal is to collaboratively identify requirements, propose solutions, implement innovative measures, and conduct joint pilots essential for the successful implementation of new cross-border services.

The project activities outlined in the call will not only contribute to the establishment of a robust platform but also play a pivotal role in enhancing the capacity of Member States’ public administrations. The aim is to prepare them for effectively implementing the obligations laid out in the future Interoperable Europe Act. This initiative underscores the EU's commitment to advancing digital governance, fostering collaboration, and ensuring interoperability across borders for more efficient and connected public administrations.

  • 1 March 2024, 15:00-16:00 CET
  • 11 March 2024, 16:00-17:00 CET
