EU Commission launches consultation on Digital Europe Programme

Published on: 05/07/2024 News

The European Commission has launched a 12-week open stakeholder consultation on the Digital Europe Programme (DIGITAL). This consultation aims to gather comprehensive insights into the needs of stakeholders related to digital transformation, the benefits of the DIGITAL programme, and potential areas for improvement.

The consultation will seek contributions from a wide range of participants, including small and medium-sized enterprises, non-governmental organisations, academia, social partners, public authorities, and other public and private organisations. Citizens from EU Member States and associated countries are also encouraged to participate.

The insights gained from this consultation will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the DIGITAL programme and ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of the digital landscape. The consultation period will conclude on 20 September 2024.

The corresponding questionnaire can be found at the following link: Digital Europe programme – interim evaluation (europa.eu). In addition, you have the possibility to provide feedback in relation to the call for evidence at the following link - ‘Have Your Say’ Portal.

Your feedback on Interoperable Europe actions, which are part of the programme, is very much welcomed!
