About us
Our journey started under ISA Programme as LEOS and continued under ISA2 Programme as LegIT- 2016.38 Legislation Interoperability Tools from Q2/2016 planned up until Q3/2021. The project has involved the European Commission (Secretariat-General, Directorate-General for Informatics), European Parliament, Council of the European Union, Publications Office. The first step was a study that delivered a better understanding of the way public administrations address the issue of drafting their legislations, with a view to identify best practices, improvements and areas where common efforts and developments are possible.
Having identified an opportunity in the field, the project delivered various proof of concepts and prototypes. Now we have an execution phase every year where we constantly improve our tool.
Therefore an active community would help us better define reusable building blocks and create synergies between similar projects at EU or Member State level.
