Shared Infrastructure
A Shared Infrastructure System is defined as a system that pools IT infrastructure provided by the service provider (e.g. hardware, operating system software, associated operating processes and tools) that can be physically used by several users at the time, thus being "shared". In particular, the service provider ensures compliance with all security standards and the logical separation of data and applications.
