The 2023 edition of the Digital Public Administration factsheets and infographics is now live on Joinup!

The Digital Public Administrations factsheets are published yearly as part of Interoperable Europe, the Commission’s initiative for a reinforced interoperability policy, under the National Interoperability Framework Observatory. They represent a main source of information on the digital transformation that EU public administrations are currently undergoing. They include an up-to-date and detailed overview of initiatives undertaken by 31 European countries (the EU27, as well as the countries of the European Free Trade Association -Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland- and Ukraine) in the digital and interoperability areas. The Digital Public Administrations factsheets are also complementing the analysis of the Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) and of the eGovernment Benchmark report on matters related to digital services.

Each factsheet is completed by an infographic and an annex, which includes a selection of information focused on this year’s selection of three key topics:

• Interoperability and interoperable public services,
• Innovative use of technologies by the public sector, and
• Data sharing (e.g., open data, data spaces, Once-Only principle).  

In addition, a dedicated factsheet for the EU focusing on all initiatives related to digital public administrations and interoperability undertaken at the European Union level is also available.
