Following the publication of the Open Data Maturity report 2022, data.europa academy is organising a series of webinars to guide you through the main insights and takeaways of this study, as well as present best practices from the participating countries. The assessment, used to measure the level of open data maturity of countries in the European Union and beyond and highlight progress in promoting open data publication and reuse, currently provides an overview of efforts of 30+ countries. It covers various dimensions of open data, such as policy, impact, quality and portal.
In this fifth webinar in the series, we will focus on the ‘impact’ part of the assessment. After an introductory explanation to the meaning and scope of this part of the assessment, representatives of two countries will share their experience. They will talk about their willingness, preparedness, and ability to measure both data reuse and the impact created through this reuse.
Sharing best practices in this webinar will demonstrate the many ways to improve the impact and its measurement; we will touch upon aspects such as strategic awareness, measuring reuse, and impact on a governmental, social, environmental, and economic levels.
