These webinars are organised by the Publications Office of the European Union, as follow-up to the EU DataViz Conference[1] for the public sector held in 2019. The Office invites relevant speakers from EU DataViz to deepen on specific subjects related to data visualisation.
The purpose of these webinars is to deepen the understanding of the data visualisation among civil servants and to enhance the use of data visualisation in their day-to-day activities. They are aimed at public sector employees interested in data visualisation and visual recording.
Originally foreseen as lunchtime conferences, they are offered since March 2020 as online webinars and live-streamed due to the coronavirus.
The recordings are published online[3].
The series started on 29 November 2019 with the recording of the closing speech of European Organization for Nuclear Research ('CERN') and Double Negative ('DNEG') and it was followed by other topics particularly relevant for the public sector.
