Open source software has started being used as a support to politics under several aspects, such as:
- providing intelligence through search, investigation, analysis and discovery of information relevant for policy making;
- performing stakeholders analysis;
- analysing the existing political framework, including opportunities and threats;
- design political strategies;
- assess the feasibility of policies.
This collection is also meant as a platform for exchanging information and ideas on the main trends in policy making intelligence throughout the European Union.
