Alessandro Ranellucci is a member of the Digital Transformation Team
of the Italian Government where he is in charge of setting the national strategy about Open Source Software, in order to encourage collaboration and software reuse in the public sector. Before working for the government he had been leading open source projects for more than 15 years, the most notable being Slic3r.org, reference software for 3D printing.
