FIWARE has taken over the implementation of the NGSI-LD API
ETSI created in Jan 2017 an Industry Specification Group (ISG CIM) for defining a Context Information Management API. The NGSI v2 defined by FIWARE provided the basis for the NGSI-LD specs published by ETSI (October 2019). NGSI-LD is a simple but powerful REST API for getting access to context data in right-time. The European Union recently launched the EU Academy, a corporate e-learning platform for external stakeholders.
