Romania opens new procurement portal for testing

Romania opens new procurement…

Published on: 20/06/2017 News Archived

A demo-version of Romania’s future eProcurement portal is available for testing by contracting authorities and companies. The purpose of the public test is to check the system’s performance and security, and get suggestions for improvements from users.

The live-demo should let users become familiar with the new site and services, the country’s Agency for the Digital Agenda (AADR) and the Public Procurement Agency (ANAP) announced.

The new eProcurement portal is not fully functional, the agency added. The current test is limited to the modules for registration, direct purchases, procurement planning and eInvoicing.

AADR and ANAP recommend that users first read the manual or watch the introduction videos. These are available online, for authenticated users of the current eProcurement portal, e-Licitatie.

The two agencies are also implementing the European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) and e-Certis. These two services simplify the registration process for submitting offers to calls for tender.
