JHS 170 XML-schemas for the public administration

this recommendation describes the common principles for formulating the XML-schemes in the public administration. Recommendation is based, when applicable, on international standards and well-known references (W3C XML-Schema and ISO 11179-5).

The asset consists of XML naming and design rules for the public administration in Finland and an example schema describing information relating to a natural person in the population registry. This recommendation is addressed to system developers in the public administration as well as to the project managers and experts in the system development projects.
