About the conference

This year, the Nordic Digital Day will be all about data-driven society. The aim is to explore how different countries are deploying practices of data analytics, data-driven decision making, future prediction and innovation in public sector.

We are now in the situation where public authorities are opening up their databases more and more, and at the same time policy makers and public authorities are trying to use new data sources and big data for better decision making. How will this new trend affect citizens and enterprises? Will there be new value created and smarter decisions made as hoped? Invited speakers will showcase the best examples of evidence-informed policy making in different countries.

The conference is meant for everybody interested in the development of eGovernment and is a place to get new ideas and meet ICT policy makers and developers from all over world.

An important aim of this conference is to offer networking opportunities and foster debate and exchange of best practice.

Join us and find out if data-driven society will be the next big thing or just another buzz-word.

The conference will be held at the Swissôtel Tallinn (Tornimäe Street 3, Tallinn, Estonia) in Tallinn City Centre on 27 May, 2016.

Nordic Digital Day is part of the Estonian ICT Week 2016 and will take place in the framework of EU Structural Funds support scheme “Raising public awareness about the information society (2015-2023)” and is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
