More than 1000 experts in semantic interoperability and eGovernment are now collaborating via SEMIC.EU.

While the process of developing a conform pan-European exchange format for person data is underway, the mark was passed at the end of March.

Along with more than 80 partner projects, partner initiatives and a repository of several hundred interoperability assets, the growing user base is one of the crucial success factors for the single point of contact in European eGovernment interoperability.

Active collaboration through the repository depends on acceptance, an active user base and relevant use cases.

With the current maturity process for E-PRTR, the conformance process for the person model as well as new domain communities, the reuse of existing interoperability assets is given a strong push.
