ORES 2010 will bring together researchers and developers to discuss ontology development and interconnection.
The international organizing committee intends to set the focus of the two-day workshop on interoperability and synergies between dispersed repositories and resources for ontology development.
Topics to be discussed include
user comprehensibility of ontology information
information exchange between different repositories
dealing with legacy systems
repository metadata
SEMIC.EU contribution
Estonian national expert Martin Luts and SEMIC.EU will contribute a joint position paper addressing SEMIC.EU?s role in linking and networking dispersed initiatives, defining interdependencies with other types of interoperability assets and the relevance of metadata harmonisation.
ORES 2010 will take place in conjunction with the ESWC10 Conference in Heraklion, Crete, on May 30 and 31.
