With the Asset Description Metadata Schema (ADMS), Public Administrations, EU Institutions, Standardisation Bodies and other Organisations will be able to publish descriptions of their semantic assets in a common way in RDF or XML. These descriptions will contain information about the semantic asset and where it can be found on the web. ADMS descriptions will be easy to publish on the Joinup platform [1] and on the web. ADMS will create a common ground for information sharing on semantic assets in Europe. For all its strategic significance, semantic assets are many times kept hidden; it is time to liberate them. The ADMS public review closes on 6 February. Do not miss the opportunity to participate in this initiative of the European Commission's ISA programme [2].
