To reach the GHE you can take the following means of Public Transport:
- Bus: Several buses stop close to the Grand Hotel Excelsior: coming from the airport, lines 71 and 73 until stop "Publiju"; From other places, the closest stop is "Librerija" but the main bus station in the city centre is also close to the hotel.

By car: From the airport, go straight across the roundabout, following signs for Valletta. Turn right at the second roundabout and left at the third. At the end of the hill, turn left and then right into the main road. Drive north towards Valletta, passing Portes des Bombes, towards Floriana and then towards Marsamxett Harbour. Grand Hotel Excelsior is on the left hand side. Driving in Malta is on the left.
