Upcoming SEMIC events in January 2023

The Semantic Interoperability Community (SEMIC) organises several workshops and webinars on various topics impacted by interoperability challenges. Are you curious about the planning for the coming month? The upcoming events are listed in the SEMIC Support Centre, keep an eye on it!

On 12 January 2023, we kick off with the first workshop on Personal Data Spaces. During this physical day, an exciting team of experts from both the MyData and SOLID communities will discuss and frame the interoperability challenges between various Personal Data Space implementations. On 17 January 2023, the webinar dedicated to the Introduction of Linked Data Event Streams (LDES) to the base registries community and highlighting its benefits will be held. More information about the agenda and the registration process can be found here.

Tuesday the 24th of January, the first workshop on Wikidata and Wikibase will take place. This series of three workshops is aiming to have an exchange between peers about best practices and working realities in different member states. Click here to find out more and register for the event.

Finally, on January 26 the webinar introducing the SEMIC Style guide will be organised. The style guide synthesises the rules applied by SEMIC for creating and publishing data specifications. Interested participants for the general introduction and deep dive in the SEMIC Style guide can register here. On 7 February 2023, a following webinar on the tooling for the data specification life cycle will take place.
