Joinup: Your platform to exchange best practices!

Very recently, the Dutch government's BOMOS2i guide on the management processes for open government IT standards is proving useful for the newest European large-scale pilot project for cross-border government services, e-SENS. A workshop was organised by the European Commission’s ISA Programme and Logius, a Dutch ministerial department assisting government organisations in building eGovernment services.

Following testing of the BOMOS2i approach, the e-SENS consortium decided to reuse the model, after refining the segment on project financing and clarifying the section on governance. Joinup reported on this exchange of best practice.

Another recent sharing of best practices took place through a workshop on the new eGovernment Action Plan 2016-2020, organised in July by EC DG Connect. See our news on the 12th eGovernment benchmark study that was also presented during this workshop.

The Joinup collaboration platform aims to support eGovernment professionals through a great variety of news, case studies, but also with our inventory of reusable ICT solutions, and our conference and workshop calendar.

Joinup is strongly committed to promote interoperability, open IT standards and government modernisation.
