Since 2011, when the first versions of data specifications developed by the ISA Action 'Promoting semantic interoperability amongst the European Union Member States (SEMIC)' were released, the ISA Programme has been actively engaging and supporting stakeholders from public administrations in the EU Member States and the EU institutions with the reuse of those solutions in the context of both operational pilots and real-life implementations. The ISA² Programme is now carrying out a study to identify implementers of their specifications.

With this study, the ISA² programme aims to better understand how the Core VocabulariesADMSDCAT-AP and GeoDCAT-AP are used, what the key selling points and enablers are, and what are the main issues encountered during the implementation of the pilots. Implementation information and experiences collected in the study will also help the ISA² Programme understand how it should adapt its future development efforts to evolve these data specifications, by e.g. eliciting requests for change. Moreover, it will also allow the ISA² Programme to strengthen its communication and raise awareness activities around the Core Vocabularies, ADMS, DCAT-AP and GeoDCAT-AP.

An overview of identified implementations is available via semic.eu. Implementers are invited to add their implementations on the map by contacting contact@semic.eu.
