“Artificial intelligence and bureaucratic transformation”, a presentation by Dr. Keegan McBride (University of Oxford) will run, in an online-only format, on 13 September 2023. This event is part of the Digital Governance Research Colloquium hosted by the Hertie School’s Centre for Digital Governance.
In this talk, Dr. Keegan McBride will discuss how bureaucracy and the state will be strengthened by AI as well as the structural changes that are likely to occur. Moreover, he will provide an overview of his new research project “Bureaucracy and Artificial Intelligence – An Institutional Logics Exploration of Digital Transformation”.
