Our legal interoperability team is always inspired and promotes innovative practices across the globe in its effort to bring legislation and technology closer.

The leading topic of IRI§23 International Legal Informatics Symposium 2023 is going to be the Legal Informatics as a Legal Methodology Science.

The event will be hybrid, on 22-25 February 2023 with a focus on the exchange of information between leading Austrian and international legal informatics specialists on legal-dogmatic and technical issues of law in the knowledge society.

Take the opportunity to learn about:

  • Legal informatics makes decisive contributions to further development: law as a body of text or multimedia with daily change dynamics, intensive efforts to define the logical legal sentence (legal logic) – in order to structure the almost infinite complexity of the practical forms of legal sentences.
  • What can the law do to improve my legal situation HERE and NOW, such as in legal prediction.

Interesting sessions you could attend:

  • Is every law for everyone? Assessing access to the law through official legal databases around the world, Andreas Pacher, 23 February @ 10.30 a.m. CET
  • AI tools for sustainability – actionable information for both humans and machines, Marika Salo-Lahti, 23 February @ 11a.m. CET
  • Smart laws & legislation, Johannes Gaertner, 23 February @ 14.30 a.m. CET
