Good news: A new training course dedicated to regulatory reporting and its importance is now available here on the Interoperable Europe Academy!
This course, developed by the Regulatory Reporting Community of Practice, is addressed to policymakers, policy officers, service managers, and IT officials working in policymaking or in public service delivery within the EU institutions or, more generally, public administrations .
Regulatory reporting, defined as “the provision of periodical (un)structured data from concerned private and public organisations, to competent authorities as required by the obligations set in specific EU legislation”, is fundamental to ensuring the implementation of EU legislation whilst also profoundly impacting the policy cycle. In this course, we will further explore the definition and importance of regulatory reporting, whilst also highlighting the benefits of streamlining the regulatory reporting process and the challenges one might encounter along the way. Finally, the course will provide an overview of the five principles that could transform regulatory reporting practices.
